Planting garlic grows community

Members of the Food Corps at Fish Tree Farm in 2021, happy and tired after a good day’s work!

On a sunny late autumn day in 2020, the Food Corps came down to plant 1100 cloves of garlic. We had a blast, worked muscles we never knew were in the human body and got the garlic planted all in one day!

    1. hi leila, it was nice to talk ginger with you and your friend at the market 🙂 it’s exchanges like that, that make markets such a joy to do!

i’m excited about your rooftop garden – we need more urban growing spaces like that for toronto. if/when you’d like me to help you and your neighbours with it, let me know!
